Værelser

The 20 rooms at Hotel Crocini reflect the typically Tuscan ambiance of the public areas, with classical style wood furniture and terra cotta and parquet floors. They are very spacious and contain selected comforts, among the best proposed by 2 star hotels in Florence: wi- fi internet, tv and telephone. Each room has a private bathroom with bathtub or shower and hairdryer. The Crocini is one of the few hotels in Florence that in addition to the traditional single, twin, double, triple and quad rooms, also offers very, very large rooms that sleep six, ideal for families and small groups. The view is always pleasant from the rooms which overlook the garden and the large double glazed windows looking out on the peaceful streets around Corso Italia.

In Corso Italia, one km from Santa Maria Novella trains station, 100 meters from the prestigious Theater for Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Teatro Comunale) and Lungarno Vespucci, in a very quiet residential area of the historic center, stands Hotel Crocini. It is one of the best 2 star hotels in Florence due to its peacefulness and convenient location, and is excellent for pleasure or business travelers. Situated in a mid 19th century building, with a pretty garden in the interior, the hotel is well connected by public transportation to the heart of Florence: minibus lines A, B and D run along Via Magenta (a stop is located a few meters from the hotel) and the neighboring streets and take 5 minutes to reach the Church of Santa Maria Novella, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria and all the main museums and sights of the city. A pretty twenty minute stroll along Lungarno Vespucci or the internal streets leads to Santa Trinita and Via Tornabuoni; it takes half an hour on foot to get to Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. But even in a 10 minute walk from the hotel you'll find some gems to start discovering the many masterpieces which, like in a great museum, pervade Florence and make it unique: the refectory of the Church of Ognissanti, overlooking a square of the same name, contains a wonderful Last Supper fresco by Domenico Ghirlandaio from 1488, and a Sant’Agostino in the study, an early work by Sandro Botticelli.
